  1. What is IMPAMA?
    Founded in 2007, the International Mobile Phone Advertising and Marketing Association (www.IMPAMA.com) represents the leading companies that actively engage in and support the sale of interactive advertising on mobile phones. IMPAMA members are responsible for selling over 87% of online-offline bluetooth advertising worldwide. On behalf of its members, the IMPAMA is dedicated to the continuing growth of the mobile phone advertising marketplace, of interactive’s share of total marketing spend and of its members’ share of total marketing spend. The IMPAMA evaluates and recommends standards and practices, fields interactive effectiveness research, and educates the advertising industry about mobile phone advertising. Please read our Mission statement for more information.

    If your company would like to be a leader in the nonconventional mobile phone advertising industry and help shape its future; or if you just want to learn more about the best ways to sell interactive advertising, please visit the Membership section of this website.

  3. What standing commitee does the IMPAMA have, and how can I get involved?
    The IMPAMA has a committee focused on addressing key issues that pertain to the interactive mobile phone advertising and marketing industry. For more information, please visit the website www.impama.com or email at office@impama.com if your company is already a member. Committee participation is only open to IMPAMA member companies.

    The IMPAMA produces an annual Professional Development Series to educate members about best and emerging practices in mobile phone interactive marketing and bluetooth advertising. For information on attending the Professional Development Series, please email at office@impama.com

  8. Does the IMPAMA offer interactive advertising consulting services?
    No, the IMPAMA does not offer advertising consulting services. The IMPAMA does however offer a variety of industry resources such as industry statistics, research, and case studies. Please visit Events & Training section of this site for more information.

  9. Can the IMPAMA recommend a company to help me?
    No, as a matter of policy, the IMPAMA does not make recommendations, or endorse specific company products or services.

    There is no reliable service that tracks such issues.

  15. What is the difference between General and Associate Membership?
